Our Impact
Fair trade is a price, not a label. Here is what your purchase does.
The weaver sets the price
We buy directly from the artisan at the price she names, and we pay in full before the piece leaves the community.
84 weaving families
We work with 84 artisans across four Indigenous nations — Arhuaco, Kogui, Wiwa and Wayuu.
Weaving schools
A share of every sale funds weaving schools in Nabusímake and Uribia, where young women learn from elders.
Preserving traditions
Patterns belong to families, not seasons. Every commission keeps a 500-year-old visual language in daily use.
Transparency
Ask us what any piece paid its maker and we will tell you.
